Koku Championship
9 spots, one for each Clan.  A special event after the auction where
you play a sealed deck game for Race Points and a whole bunch of Koku.�
When bidding you are bidding to be the Phoenix player, or the Spider
player, etc.  Seeding will be based on the value of the bids. The two
lowest bidders will play off first so we have an even number of 8
players for the bracket.

RPG Character
Put your home game character (pending story team approval) into the L5R
RPG as a featured NPC in an upcoming book (The character becomes
property of AEG).

How can I register?

• You can register by wire transfer or cash payment, and the account holder is Pablo García Rojo. You can also register in Padis (www.padisl5r.com). Please remember to insure that your full real name figures as sender of the transfer or the depositor. It is obligatory for you to show the receipt of payment upon arrival at the Tournament.

Until when can I register?

• Until Octuber 31st, although you can also register at the entry.

How much?

• 50€ if register on or before Octuber 31st, or 60€ at the gate on the same day. We need to know the approximate number of players who will attend, so please register as soon as you can.

•    FRIDAY:

9:00 – Doors open, inscriptions begin for the qualifying rounds.

10:00 – Beginning of 2 simultaneous qualifying rounds of 45 min. each. (All players with 5 wins and 2 losses will be eligible to play on Saturday)

17:00 – End of the first qualifying rounds, another 2 simultaneous 40 min. rounds begin. (All players with 5 wins and 2 losses will be eligible to play on Saturday)

24:00 – End of the second qualitying rounds, the names of the classifying players are announced.

•    SATURDAY

10:00 - Jade Championship Begins (Main Event). The number of rounds and classified players will depend on event attendance. We expect there will be 8 rounds - TOP 32

10:00 - Commanders of Jade Begins (Special Event). The number of rounds and classified players will depend on event attendance. We expect there will be 8 rounds - TOP 32

14:00 – One hour for lunch.

19:00 – End of the Swiss Rounds for both events, Costume contest, Clan Council, Auctions, and Surprises.

20:30 - 1 Two hour round for the TOP, best of 3 using the “Palmer Rule”

22:30 – End of the Top Round.

•    SUNDAY

10:00 – TOP rounds begin, both for the Main Event and the Special Event.

12:00 - Legacy Format Tournament Begins ( Format: Legacy)

12:00 - “I love this Game” Tournament begins (Format: Samurai 30/30 with special rules)

16:00 – European Championship L5R SUICIDE begins (Format: a booster and a prayer)

19:00 – Prizes awarded and Closing Ceremony.
* All of these times may change as events progress. During the weekend there will also be exhibitions.

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2007

Welcome to the official web site Legend of the Five Rings European Championship held in Madrid on the 2, 3, and 4 of November. Here you can find all information about guests, how to get there, prizes, formats, along with many other surprises.

The Championship will take place in the Parque de Atracciones de Madrid (www.parquedeatracciones.es), near the famous Casa de Campo, in the area named “El Palenque”. It offers more than 1000 square meters with air conditioning and heating, catering service, lighting for large events, a large screen for events, restrooms, and is surrounded by a pleasant park area.
